The first words out of my mouth when I saw this on TV over the weekend were “the husband did it!”. Sorry guys but Scott Peterson did you all wrong. As it turns out, this missing pregnant woman isn’t married but the baby’s daddy is. Ouch! Oh he’s separated, my bad. But seriously folks, he’s a police officer, the father of her 2 year old son and is reportedly separated from his wife (only since February). The facts as I heard/read them, missing pregnant mother, sheets and comforter missing, bleach poured on floor. IF it was the boyfriend/cop he sure did sloppy cover up.
Disclaimer: It is my own individual opinion that he’s behind it all. For all I know, he could be innocent. But really, what are the chances of that? They haven’t even released his name. Why is that? Protecting their own perhaps. Hmmmmm …
Update: There was a press conference just a little while ago and …”We feel that there possibly is foul play, however we’re still investigating it as a missing person”. Followed by “there are no suspects”. Good grief, no suspects …that’s why the FBI are already involved. They did name the boyfriend, Bobby Cutts Jr. but remember, he’s not a suspect. They’re not even using the famous tag “person of interest”.
I suppose there could be another angle, perhaps someone wanted the baby. That’s been known to happen, a woman desperate for a child, faking a pregnancy, kills the mother for the baby. It’s a possibility but I’m still leaning towards the boyfriend.
