Steve commented with remembering where he was. I remember where I was. A friend was getting married and I was at the wedding, it was a Saturday afternoon wedding. After that I went to the races (dirt track car racing, not to be confused with the ponies) and when I got home it was around midnight. Being the news junkie that I am, the first thing I did was turn on the tv to see what was going on. That is when I first heard that the Princess was in a crash. At that point they had taken her to the hospital and were not reporting that she had died. Tired I went to bed and woke up to the news that Princess Diana had passed away.
