Road to Denver
Super Tuesday is over leaving Hillary Clinton with a slight lead over Barack Obama. This is going to be a close race that probably won’t end until August at the DNC in Denver, CO. To those of you supporting Obama you have to keep in mind the Super Delegates. These delegates are free to vote as they wish and although they won’t admit it, they can be bought. IMO If the race is real close come August these delegates could push Clinton ahead and essentially make her your candidate.
Let it be noted, I have nothing against Hillary Clinton. I’m still not sure who I will be voting for but I do know that Obama is gaining momentum. I fear that many of you out there aren’t aware of Super Delegates, who they are or how they could impact the election.
Here’s a short list of some Democratic Super Delegates:
Bill Clinton
Walter Mondale
Dick Gephardt
John Kerry
Ted Kennedy
Tom Daschle

Am I alone in thinking this is all a nightmare? I used my forum to start myself a homework assignment to find out all I could about each candidate so I can decide who I think is best in my opinion and vote informatively but I stalled out because I just get so irritated and frustrated with all of it.
I know I won’t vote for Clinton, but beyond that I don’t know anything. It seems impossible to find a candidate with the right balance. For me anyways.

I wonder who Bill will vote for…
Today was the first serious speculation I’d heard about a clinton/obama, obama/clinton ticket. I think some people had thought that Edwards might be the eventual vp choice again, but he has said no thanks, been there.

Hi Rob! How have you been?
I’m not sure who Bill supports
In last weeks debate, Clinton and Obama were asked about the possibility of a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton ticket. Obama was quick to point out that there’s a big difference between the two. I got a chuckle out of that. They both seemed open to it but said it’s too soon to be talking about it.
