Fund-raiser for the Find Jaliek Reward Fund

Jaliek Rainwalker is a beautiful innocent 12yr old biracial child that went missing Nov. 1, 2007 from Greenwich, NY his adopted father Stephen Kerr was the last one to see him and has now been named a “person of interest” in Jalieks disappearance. For those of you who are not familiar with this case please visit www.findjaliek.org

We need to do all we can to keep Jaliek from being forgot about. His adopted mothers father offered a reward for his return at $25,000 that as of Jan. 1, 2008 the adopted parents dropped the reward to $20,000 and will continue dropping it $5,000 the first of each month from now on until there is no reward left. I have contacted the Find Jaliek Task Force and it is their hopes to be able to replace that $5,000 a month that the adopted parents reduce, and it is my hopes and prayers that we will be able to do that and more at the gospel concert. The concert is free and open to all. We will take up a Love Offering that night to raise the money for the reward fund.

Please spread the word to all your friends and family. And if you know of any Gospel Choirs or Soloists that wish to perform that evening please have them contact Rev. Tim ASAP @ (518) 720-1730 to be added to the program

SPAM!

This is a bit off topic but …

I’m going to Vegas in 50 days (not that I’m counting) and I’m wondering if they have my new favorite slot machine, SPAM, in any of the casino’s there.  Yes, it’s the same SPAM that comes in a can and I can honestly say I’ve never eaten it.  The game is a riot, I usually play the .02 cent version.  So can anyone out there save me some foot work and tell me where I can find this machine in Vegas?

Jaliek’s story will not be forgotten

Filed under: Jaliek Rainwalker, Missing people, News — Kim @ 9:07 am

There has been a lot of news coming out over the past couple days on the Jaliek Rainwalker case.  Yesterday police took to the waters of the Hudson River near Troy to search for clues in this young boys disappearance.  While this was going on the Greenwich police were in the process of searching the house where Jaliek spent his last night, alone with this adoptive father Stephen Kerr.

What happened that night remains a mystery but one thing’s for certain, Jaliek’s story will not be forgotten.  The following quote was taken from a Times Union article dated today, February 8th: “It’s good there is always something going on,” Person said. “My biggest fear is that this (story) will die out and be forgotten.”

I want to personally let Elaine know that I will not let this story fade.  My contribution might be small but my determination is great.  My blogging and emailing will not stop until Jaliek is found.
