There are three planned search dates for Jaliek Rainwalker and volunteers are needed. The first will be at Merck Forest & Farmland Center in Rupert, VT (9 miles NE of Salem, NY, or approx. 60 miles from Albany, NY). These searches are organized grid searches, on foot. A grid search consists of 6-12 people crews that search a designated area. Each crew is debriefed and has a crew boss. The dates scheduled so far are: May 31st, June 7th and June 21st (all Saturdays).
