SCHENECTADY — Police are investigating the disappearance of a 27-year-old woman who left behind two small children.
Lutrica Steele of 1118 Webster St. was last seen May 1 when she left the home she shares with her mother, Ethel Zasa, and the children.

I just saw this on the news last night,and initially thought how did I miss this??Then why is this the first time I am hearing this? That makes me angry.What is the delay in getting the word out to the public,I can’t imagine that the families would want this,so what?? Why?? I do not get it!!Isn’t it best to get the information out there ASAP?? This really baffles me and my heart goes out to this family as well.

There’s a thread on this story on wnyt, I commented there this morning. I cannot explain how …pissed off I was this morning when I heard that this woman has been missing since May 1st! How can that be? If it was at the family’s request I would sort of understand. If that was the case then maybe they thought that she needed a break and took one, it happens. It doesn’t seem to be the case from what was said by a few people on the wnyt board, assuming they are who they say they are. After Denise Hart going missing and then being found dismembered I have little faith that anyone is following up on these cases.

This girl was a foster child in my mothers home for a year when she was 15. I’m looking for any information on whether or not she has been found. If anyone knows anything please contact me

HI, This is Lutricas Sister Andrea. I was wondering if anyone knows that we still have not heard frome her and I have called the detectives and they have no more info then I have. Robin I am not sure if I know you. My sister and I were in different foster homes. Thank you for your consern.
