Washington County Sheriff’s looking for missing man
WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.Y. — Deputies in Washington County are looking for a 35-year-old man. They say Matthew Wood was last known to be at his home in Easton.
Wood left a note on May 30th for his parents saying he was going to Saratoga to shop and meet up with a friend and hasn’t been seen since. His parents found his car at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Wilton
Wood is about 6 feet 1 inches tall and about 190 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has several distinctive tattoos and spends a lot of time in the Saratoga area.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Steve’s hunch. He met a man, online, like through something similar to Craig’s list. And things went bad.

I am a close friend of Matt Wood (his name is Matthew Wood, from the Easton area of Washington County, New York).
I and Matt’s parents are extremely concerned about him and are looking for ANY advice in what else we can do besides what the local authorities are already doing. We have zero experience in dealing with a missing person situation like this.
