Gustav Update

“Hurricane Gustav slowed to Category 3 status with top winds near 125 mph early Sunday but forecasters expected it to regain strength later in the day. The National Hurricane Center upgraded a watch to a hurricane warning for over 500 miles of Gulf coast from Cameron, La., near the Texas border to the Alabama-Florida state line, meaning hurricane conditions are expected there within 24 hours.”

This is so eerie, 3 years almost to the day.  This hurricane is more powerful than Katrina, I hope the residents of New Orleans get out while they can.  In the words of your mayor, Ray Nagin:

“You need to be scared,” Nagin said. “You need to be concerned, and you need to get your butts moving out of New Orleans right now. This is the storm of the century.”

Caylee Anthony Still Missing!

With the 3 ring circus is going on, not much is being said about Caylee.  Let’s not forget that she’s still missing.  I hope the media can put focus back on Caylee, that’s what this should be all about.

I think I just heard on Fox News that Casey’s bail had been revoked overnight.  I guess the bondsman has had enough just like the rest of us.

Casey Update

Casey was brought back to jail on new charges, check fraud.  She’s being held on $3000.00 bail.  I hope that she stays in jail.  Here’s a link to the latest article.

Report: Body Was Decomposing in Trunk of Car Driven by Missing Tot’s Mom

“ Results taken from air samples reveal that a body was decomposing in the trunk of a car driven by the mother of missing Florida toddler Caylee Anthony, WESH TV reported.

Detectives and cadaver dogs said they detected the smell of human decomposition coming from the trunk of the Pontiac Casey Anthony was driving when her little girl disappeared more than two months ago.

The University of Tennessee “Body Farm” conducted the tests on the car’s air samples Aug. 10, and on Wednesday their conclusion was released: a human corpse was decomposing there.”

Divers Search for Jaliek

Dive teams search for Jaliek Rainwalker in river

A New York State Police dive team were called to search a part of the Hudson River after Greenwich Police Chief George Bell said he received “pertinent information” regarding missing Greenwich boy Jaliek Rainwalker.

He would not elaborate on that information.

Prayers for Grace

Hello everyone.  I know some of you are familiar with little Alex Handy, she is the daughter of a friend of mine and frequent commenter here on my blog.  Little Alex was diagnosed with Leukemia in the beginning of 2008, your prayers have helped her and now a friend of hers could use some of those prayers tonight.  Grace Utter turned 7 recently, she has been on dialysis since June when her kidneys were removed.  Tonight she is undergoing a kidney transplant.  Please take a few minutes to say a prayer for Grace and her family.
