Last night our dog Jake had to be put to sleep. He hadn’t been feeling well for the past week and went downhill very quick yesterday. He will be missed.

Kim, I am so sorry for your loss. I know a pet is as much as a family membere as a child sometimes. Just know that Jake will never suffer again, and is running in a field of flowers probably chasing bunnies! I own a petsitting service called “The furry Godmother” and know how much animals mean to their owners! I have my own furry kid an English Springer named Liv and dread the day I have to say goodbye. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Thank You Steve, Terri and Lori. It was a difficult week but we made it through. We’re now able to talk about Jake without crying …well, not always but it’s getting eaiser. He was such a good dog and his life was cut short. Jake had a great life, he did many things a lot of dogs don’t get the chance to do. I’m sure he’s in a happy place, where the food bowl is always full and there’s always a ball to chase.

Oh Kim,I am so so sorry,I have not been on here for the longest time and I just now saw this.I am feeling so sad for you and your family. My animals are part of my family.I know its been a month now for you,but I bet you still miss Jake.I am again sorry and also that I was not here to console you more at the time. I know how hard it had to have been for you.(((Kim)))
