Into the Second Year

Monday, December 1st, will mark 13 months since Jaliek disappeared.  It’s unimaginable to me how anyone can disappear without a trace.  Somebody has information on Jaliek and until he is found those who love him will continue to search for that information.  Searches continue and will not stop until Jaliek is found.

On Monday Jaliek’s grandmother, Barbara Reeley, will be set up inside Crossgates mall at JC Penney’s near the mall entrance.  She will be there to hand out posters, answer questions, and have a signing up search volunteers.

Kellisue M. Ackernecht, Missing since 09/30/08

“Ackernecht, 36, of 330 W. Main St., is the subject of an ongoing search by Johnstown police. Police said she left her job at Rite Aid in Amsterdam the night of Sept. 30. She was reported missing by her husband, Jayson Ackernecht, in the early morning hours of Oct. 1 – about the same time the car she was driving was found on fire at West Montgomery and Chestnut streets.”

Corrie L. Anderson, Jamestown, NY, Missing Since 10/28/08

Corrie Anderson was last seen on October 28, 2008 at about 1:10 pm, leaving Lake County Dodge in the City of Jamestown, Chautauqua County, New York. She missed a meeting at 3:15 pm and did not pick up her son from school. This is very unusual. She operates a dark blue, 2005 Dodge Caravan, NY registration number CX404.

Police find van belonging to missing Jamestown-area woman

The discovery of a missing Jamestown-area woman’s van in a remote area Thursday night has law-enforcement officials concerned about the possibility of foul play in her disappearance.

The 2005 Dodge Caravan belonging to Corrie L. Anderson, 36, was found on a farm road bordering a heavily wooded area in the Town of Busti, several miles outside Jamestown.

Jaliek Rainwalker Missing One Year Ago Today

One year ago today, at this time (9:46am), Jaliek Rainwalker was alive and well, his whereabouts was known.  The following morning he was gone, vanished into thin air.  It’s been a long year with little in the way of answers but the search for Jaliek continues. 

Today people from the Capital District will be remembering Jaliek in two vigils.  One being held in Albany, the other being held in Greenwich.  Details of these vigils are in the previous posts, if you are in either area please stop by and say a prayer for Jaliek.
