Not Forgotten

Filed under: Jaliek Rainwalker, Missing people — Kim @ 9:19 pm

Jaliek Rainwalker is still missing.  I don’t have anything new to report other than he’s still missing.  He’s been missing since Nov. 1, 2007.  It seems as if his story has fallen off the radar.  Nothing in the news, no new leads …so what now?  I can’t sit by and let this story fade away.  Jaliek is just a young boy and needs to be found.  I am continuing my efforts to keep Jaliek’s name and face in the public eye.  Stay tuned, this case isn’t closed.

New evidence to be revealed

Filed under: Joshua Szostak, Missing people, Smiley Face Killers — Kim @ 10:39 pm

I was able to listen to the interview with Kristi Piehl and Bill Szostak that aired on Coast to Coast.  It was a short interview but not short on content.  One thing is obvious, this story will not be put on the back burner.  I plan on following Kristi and Bill as they unveil their findings.  Please continue to support the Szostak family and all of the families who have lost a loved one to unexplained circumstance.

Smiley Face Killers

Filed under: Joshua Szostak, Smiley Face Killers — Kim @ 10:26 pm

New information will be revealed this evening in an interview with Kristi Piehl and Bill Szostak.  Tune into WGY tonight, I don’t know what time but the interview will be on a national show called Coast to Coast, airing from 9pm – 6am.

Let’s hope this investigation solves the crime that the Albany Police failed to solve.  Not only did they fail to solve a crime, they closed the case before toxicology results were returned.  This leaves a bad taste in my mouth where the APD is concerned.

Justice for Josh!

Jaliek Rainwalker …Last Seen November 1, 2007

Filed under: Awareness, Jaliek Rainwalker, Missing people — Kim @ 5:21 pm

Jaliek Rainwalker was last seen on the evening of November 1, 2007 in the company of this adoptive father Stephen Kerr.  Jaliek was picked up by Kerr around 6:45 after spending 6 days in respite care.  From there the two went to the Red Robin in Latham, NY where witnesses recall seeing the boy in the company of Kerr.  That was the last anyone other than Kerr saw Jaliek.

Where is Jaliek Rainwalker?

I am now the proud owner of a brand new full size cello.  Why, you ask?  Well it’s not because I can play one that’s for sure.

My daughter has been playing the cello since 5th grade.  When it came time to plan her high school schedule she decide she no longer wanted to play.  Eight months and $400 later I am finally getting around to returning the cello.  Then I remember that I was on a rent to own plan.  They won’t give me the cash, I need to pick out a cello …a cello that won’t get any use.  I think I’ll make my daughter take lessons.  LOL  Someone has to use it and I’m not giving up my credit towards something new.

There are two things I don’t understand here.  1. Why didn’t they (the rental company) let me know that I had the credit so I could buy rather than rent?  2. Why did I let this go for 8 months?  Me, the one who loves to see how much she can save by clipping coupons and shopping the deals.  *sigh*  I can always sell it.  It almost seems like found money at this point :)

On my mind …

Filed under: Life in general, Missing people — Kim @ 10:43 pm

There’s so much to say and so little time to blog lately.

The first thing on my mind is the lack of concern by the local authorities on cases that go cold.  What defines a cold case?  What’s the waiting period …6 months, 1 year, 2 years?  I don’t know.  When the leads run dry?  I guess that’s the best way to measure it.  How can so many people go missing without a trace?  Karen Wilson missing from Albany since 1985, Suzanne Lyall missing from Albany since 1998, Audrey May Herron missing from Catskill since 2002, Craig Frear missing from Scotia since 2004, Jaliek Rainwalker missing from Greenwich since 2007, Lutrcia Steele missing from Schenectady since 2008.  And how about Denise Hart who was missing from Schenectady, body found in Menands, Shelton Grant who was missing from Troy, body found in the Hudson River not far from Troy, Joshua Szostak missing from Albany, body found in the Hudson River near Coxsackie (sorry but I’m still not buying that this was an accident).  None of these cases have been solved …what’s up with that?  Do we just forget that these people are missing?  Do we just give up on finding who murdered these people?

This lady with the 8 babies …she’s just in it for the money.

Michael Phelps, he’s just a 23 year old with millions of dollars.  You mean to tell me you didn’t see something like this happening?  Give the kid a break, he probably hasn’t had the opportunity to enjoy his youth.

Working is over-rated.  Seriously, there has to be a better way.  No, I’m  not going to have 8 babies at one time so someone will feel bad for me and build me a house.  I’m sure she’ll get a few million to sell her story and all but that’s not for me.  I haven’t ruled out the Mega Millions though.

Christmas is over people!!!  I understand that we’ve had a lot of snow and ice so you can’t take your outside decorations down but you can turn them off.  And there’s no excuse for your tree …that should have been down a month ago.

While I’m on a roll, and I know I’ve mentioned this before, there needs to be a separate checkout for people who are on their lunch break at Walmart, Target and the like.  Not that I have time to go to the store at lunch time these days but there are others who can and need to get back in a reasonable amount of time.

Don’t forget to have your pets spayed and neutered :)
