I understand that there is a young man missing from Schenectady, NY.  His name is Michael Kennison and he was last seen on 12/25/09.  That is all the information that I have and it comes from a reliable source who saw a missing poster at Stewart’s.

If anyone has any more information please leave a comment.  We would like to help spread the word about Michael to help bring him home safe.  If you have a picture that would be even better!  Again, just leave a comment and I will email you to get the picture.

  1. Kim,

He’s not listed on the state’s website ( ) and I’m drawing a blank searching the web. If somebody can get hold of one of the poster’s or jot down the contact number if they see it again you could call to find out if the case is still open.

SCHENECTADY — Police have arrested a Scotia man for robbing a State St. market-deli at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

Police say Michael Kenison entered the Asian Market Deli at 1339 State St. before 8:30 p.m. Jan. 13 and demanded cash from the clerk, threatening the clerk with a black handgun.

Kenison fled on a red bicycle with $120 in cash, police say, but was quickly apprehended by responding officers at the corner of Brandywine and Duane Aves.

While being taken into police custody, Kenison was found in possession of a black imitation handgun, a black ski mask and cash.

In addition to the two counts of first-degree robbery Kenison was charged with in connection with the Jan. 13 robbery, Kenison was charged with first-degree robbery for allegedly robbing the same store on Jan. 10. In that incident, Kenison struck the clerk in the head with a black handgun and fled with $400 in cash.

Kenison has been arraigned and remains in Schenectady County Jail.
