10th Annual Missing Persons Day

The Center for Hope will be hosting the 10th Annual Missing Persons Day this Sunday, April 9th.  The event will take place at The NYS Museum in Albany, NY from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Who Should Attend?

Families of the Missing ~ All who support the mission of finding a resolution to missing persons~Non Profit Organizations ~ Advocates for Missing Persons and Crime Victims Private Investigators ~ Law Officials ~ Search and Rescue/Recovery Teams

What to Expect:

*Stimulating speakers, informational displays/exhibits and an opportunity to join together with others affected by this unique loss to reflect, remember, and to provide mutual support. Despite the seriousness of the occasion, our goal is to provide an uplifting experience. The morning session is by registration ONLY.

Morning Program

*Featured presenters will be Mary and Alicia Kozakiewicz. Alicia is a teen survivor of an internet predator. She and her mother Mary will share their harrowing story and talk about their commitment to educate everyone about the dangers that exist online. At noon you are invited to join us for an informal luncheon buffet on the museum’s 4th floor.

The afternoon program beginning at 1:00pm will include:

*A live demonstration of radKIDS and rad for adults. These programs provide education that enhances the ability of children and adults to utilize knowledge, skills and power to protect themselves from violence and harm.

*The key note speaker is Frank Williams, chairman of the Ride for Missing Children and a Team Hope volunteer.

*The presentation of the annual ‘HOPE’ award

*We will conclude at the NYS Missing Persons Remembrance Monument, recognizing our missing loved ones.
